WHAT IS RECRUITMENT?
Recruitment or "Rush" is a 2 week period at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester where interested individuals come to our events and learn about the values of Alpha Phi Omega and meet the brothers. Our recruitment consists of 10 events over these two weeks, which demonstrate our three pillars: Service, Friendship, and Leadership. This is a time where you can learn about our chapter and brothers and we can get to know you.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed fraternity, thus is open to anyone of any gender or race who demonstrate a passion for service and values friendship and leadership.
*The Beta Iota Chapter at NYU does not possess a bid system.
WHY APO?
Alpha Phi Omega is the nation's largest co-ed service based fraternity. We are an all-inclusive fraternity, providing a diverse and supportive community for all our brothers. With a plethora of service opportunities and leadership building events, brothers are able to create life-long friendships while contributing to the betterment of the world.
