"What's your biggest take-away from college?"
Updated: Jan 25, 2019
"I think learning to accept that not everything will go according to plan and it's okay that not everything's perfect. It might even be okay that not everything is okay in life. Just learning to accept that part of life has been a lesson I've learned these past 3 1/2 years of college. I learned a lot about friendships and relationships. I met a lot of interesting people that came into my life and also left. Just learning to accept the flow and that sometimes things will go wrong no matter how hard you try. What's important is being willing to adapt to whatever life throws at you. I can't pinpoint my happiest moments of college but I think happiness for me is feeling in tune with my state in life. It can be a very quick and brief moment of happiness but just feeling at peace and content with what and where I am at the current moment. That could be going to a meal and enjoying it so much that I forget to worry about the million things happening in my life. It really grounds me to the present." - Hoiyan Leung, Alpha Chi
